Green Gram Porridge

#dals I love the the moong varieties😋 one of the best to make anything and everything. Whether it's dosa, payasam, vada, pakoda, halwa etc a long list and each of them taste yumm. Today felt a little lazy and wanted something easy, warm and simple to eat, so made this green gram Porridge with a little rice combination and had it with Papad and Raw Mango Chutney. Heat a pressure cooker and dry roast the green gram for 2 minutes. Wash the rice and add it with the moong. Add water and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.

. It should be smooth and mushy in texture. For one glass of dal and rice, pour 3 glass of water. It should be in a semi liquid consistency. Once the pressure is released mash it with a ladle and serve hot with added salt and ghee. Enjoy with papad, achar and if preferred any of your sabji.😋👌
