Wash and soak the Moong dal for 3-4 hours. Drain and grind to a coarse paste. Sprinkle water if needed. Transfer to a bowl and beat using spoon for few minutes until light and fluffy.

Add all the other ingredients and mix. Heat a wok with oil for deep fry. Drop the lentil mix into hot oil and fry on low-medium flame until golden brown and crisp. Transfer to a tissue paper and serve hot with sauce or chutney accompanied with a adrak wali chay !
