Steps

Peel off the flower and separate the unwanted parts(as per picture below). Soak the flower in buttermilk or well diluted milk.

Soak chana dal 3 hours before grinding. Boil soaked flower in water along with turmeric powder and salt. Now grind chanadhal, garlic, red chilli, fennel seeds and few curry leaves.

Mix the chanapaste along with chopped onion, chopped flower, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt. Deep fry in medium flame.
