Sabudana is to be had during fasts/vrat. It's a traditionally cooked and eaten in various forms. Pudding, vadas and even as pancakes.

Sabudana is to be had during fasts/vrat. It's a traditionally cooked and eaten in various forms. Pudding, vadas and even as pancakes.

Wash and soak sabudana for couple of hrs. Boil potatoes, roast the groundnuts.

Remove the skin of the groundnuts. Blend the groundnuts, green chillies, ginger and jeera altogether to a smooth powder.

Smash the potatoes, add the sabudana and the smooth powder. Mix well. Add salt, lime juice.

Make small balls, flatten them and make a hole in the middle of the vada. (as we make to make medu vadas).

Heat oil, start frying the vadas in batches. Remove and keep it aside.

Now take serving bowls, pour in some sweet curd. Take skewers and insert the vadas and place it in the bowl.
