Steps

Soak padala paruppu in water for 30 mins. Graind well in the mixer. Steam it in a cooler.

In a hot pan add oil.

Add all the masala items.

Add green chilies. Next onions.

Then add tomatoes and next ginger garlic paste.

Add chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder.

Add water and close.

Make sure the dal is good mixer without any lumps. Add the dal to the pan.

Open the pan, add pudhina and mix well.

Serve with dosa or idlli.
