Ingredients

20 min
  • 1 cupall-purpose flour or maida
  • 1/4 cupsemolina or sooji
  • 1 tspsoda
  • as neededOil to deep fry
  • 1/2 cupBoiled chopped potatoes
  • 8-10 piecesMoong dal vada soaked in water
  • 1/2 cupcurd
  • 8-10 tbspcoriander chutney
  • 8-10 tbsptamarind chutney
  • to tasteSalt
  • 4 tbsproasted cumin powder
  • to tasteBlack salt
  • as neededRed chilli powder to sprinkle
  • As neededBhujia sev
  • handfulboondi
  • as needed mint leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl add all-purpose flour, semolina, soda and knead a semi hard dough...cover with a muslin cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes

  2. 2

    After 15 minutes make small balld out of the dough and make a thin puri shape out of it

  3. 3

    Then deep fry them on low flame for at least 5 minutes

  4. 4

    When all the kachoris are fried let them stay for 2 hours as it as

  5. 5

    Then take a kachori make a hole

  6. 6

    Add crumbled moong daal vada, potatoes

  7. 7

    Add a generous amount of curd over it

  8. 8

    Add coriander chutney and tamarind chutney

  9. 9

    Sprinkle over salt, black salt, cumin powder, chaat masala and red chilli powder

  10. 10

    Sprinkle some sev amd boondi upon it

  11. 11

    Repeat the same process for all

  12. 12

    Garnish with mint leaves and serve
