Ingredients

  • FOR FRYING POTATOES
  • 2potatoes
  • 4 cupwater
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 tbspcorn flour
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper crushed
  • As neededoil for frying
  • 2 tspoil
  • 1 tspgarlic finely chopped
  • 1 tspginger finely chopped
  • 2 stem spring onions chopped
  • 1/2medium sized onion
  • 1/2small sized capsicum cubed
  • 2 tbsphot and sweet sauce
  • 1 tbspsoya sauce
  • 1 tbspvinegar
  • 1/4 cupcorn flour paste
  • 1/4 tspblack Pepper powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly, peel the skin of potatoes and chop them to thick pieces.

  2. 2

    Further, boil the potato pieces for 2 minutes

  3. 3

    Adding little salt.

  4. 4

    Further, mix corn flour and crushed pepper to boiled potatoes.

  5. 5

    Deep fry the potatoes into hot oil.

  6. 6

    Heat the oil and add garlic, ginger and green chilli, spring onions.

  7. 7

    Also saute onion and capsicum till they slightly shrink.

  8. 8

    Additionally add hot and sweet sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and salt to taste.
    mix well.

  9. 9

    Now add corn flour paste.

  10. 10

    Mix continuously till the sauce turn translucent.

  11. 11

    Further add fried potatoes and spring onions green.

  12. 12

    Also add crushed pepper and mix gently making sure the sauces are coated well to potatoes.

  13. 13

    Finally, serve crispy chilli potato.
