Firstly peeled and wash, then slice the potatoes very thin and in slanting slices.

In a bowl take milk, cream, salt, pepper, jiaphal and pepper and mix them well.

Next in a deep kadhai add garlic and milk mixture. And let it cook.for a minute. Now quickly add the potatoes and mix properly and simmer for 7-8 minutes.

Next grease a baking dish with butter (it should be deep and rectangular or oval shape) Now first place the potatoes in a row than add the creamy gravy on top of it and than finally grate cheese on it.

Now place the baking dish in the preheated oven at 180°c for 45 minutes. Your super delicious creamy cheesy gratin Dauphinois is ready to eat. Do try it. It's a very easy and simple dish but very very yummy.
