Grind the oats finely and set aside. Peel and clean the pumpkin, then steam for 20 minutes. Add the steamed pumpkin, dates, and milk to a blender.

Blend everything until smooth. Mix the blended pumpkin mixture with the ground oats until well combined. Divide the mixture in half. Mix the first half with unsweetened cocoa powder and chocolate chips until well combined.

Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C) for 15-20 minutes. Grease the baking pan, then line it with parchment paper and lightly grease it again to prevent sticking. Spread the cocoa mixture evenly in the pan and tap to remove air bubbles 3-4 times. Pour the remaining mixture on top, spread evenly, and tap to remove air bubbles 3-4 times. Decorate the top with assorted nuts and seeds as desired.

Bake at 340°F (170°C) for 30-40 minutes. Today, my oven took 32 minutes (bake until done, as oven temperatures may vary. Check the doneness and color of the brownies). Let cool after baking.
