This sandwich is so very delicious!!! The fries are a mixture of straight and crinkled. As you know French fries can be dry when reheated. This is why the extra mayonnaise. I love ketchup but I love malt vinegar and Belgium fries served with mayonnaise too. Mix the mayonnaise and ketchup on the same sandwich, that is a mouthful of happiness!!!!!!

These are super fast if you have the sauce and meatball already made. They are great appetizers, or for lunch or a light dinner! I make and freeze sauce and meatballs just for these sandwiches!

I think the onions are the real hero of this sandwich, they keep the meat soft and flavorful.
