Ingredients

4 people
  • 250 gmsBaby potatoes
  • 1/4 cupMaize flour
  • 2 tbspBesan
  • 2 tbspCornflour
  • As per taste Salt as taste
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspChaat masala
  • PinchEdible red colour (optinal)
  • As required Oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the potatoes very nicely because we are not going to peel them. Wash twice or thrice.

  2. 2

    Now steam the potatoes such that they boil only 70%.

  3. 3

    Drain them for 15-20min such that all water drian out.

    Now we prepare the batter.mix all the ingredients and make batter not very thick and not very watery.

    Potatoes should be like half covered.

    Now mix the potatoes in batter and deep fry them.

  7. 7

    You can serve them with green chutney.
