Ingredients

  • 1medium sized boiled potato
  • 2 tbsprice flour
  • 1 tspfinely chopped garlic
  • To tastesalt
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspcoriander seeds powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala (optional)
  • As required oil for deep frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and boil the potato. Cool it and mash it well. Add chopped garlic, cumin seeds, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala powder, coriander seeds powder, rice flour to it and knead it into a soft dough. Add extra rice flour if needed while kneading.

  2. 2

    Divide small portions from the dough and roll into thick circle shape and cut small circles from it using a round cutter or make small portions from the dough and make small circles on the hand palm by pressing.

  3. 3

    Prick the circles using fork in any shape and deep fry in oil till golden brown and crisp on medium flame.
