It's a very healthy vegetable, rich in fiber and vitamins and it helps in cooling the body.

Steps

Wash and chop the onion lengthwise. And tomatoes. Please refer pic.

Peel and Wash the kakrol and potato. Refer pic.

Now in cooker, heat oil, then add jeera. And then add onion. Fry them till it becomes golden brown.

Now add tomatoes, and cook them till tomatoes become soft. Now add all masala(salt, red chilli powder and coriander powder) and mix them.

Add 3-4 spoon of water and use hand mixer to mash this gravy.

Now add potato and kakrol and stir them for 2-3 minutes.

Add water according to your preference how much thickness you want. And close the cooker and give whistle. one whistle on high flame and one on low flame.

Curry is ready, garnish with coriander leaf. You can serve with rice or chapati. Enjoy!!!
