Steps

Soak moong dal in water for 6 hours or overnight.

Then drain the water and grind it in mixer until it achieve smooth texture.

Then put kadhai on stove put ghee into and heat it.

Add grind dal into it! Saute it onto medium flame and stir it continuously for 20-30 or till it achieve desired brown color.

When the color become golden brown add mawa into it and mix it finely and saute it for 5 min!

Then take a separate vessel for sugar syrup, put it on a flame and add water and sugar, boil it. And add cardamom powder!

Mix sugar syrup into saute moong dal on medium flame! And stir it continuously so it will mix it finely! Saute it till it achieve a good smooth texture!

Garnish it with chopped dry fruits and your moong dal halwa is ready to be served!
