Soak rice and dal for 3-4hrs

Grind them into fine paste and keep for fermentation for at least 6-8hrs

Divide into two parts and add little water for Dosa batter

Add salt and mix well

Add water to idli maker...Grease the idli plate and pour the batter..

Let it steam for around 10-12mins

Heat a tawa and wipe it with little oil

Then pour 1tbsp batter and spread outward...drizzle some oil/butter

Let it cook...when the side leaves the tawa...fold the dosa and serve

Serve with sambhar and chutney
