Peel yam and grate it in a bowl, dont try to squeeze water as hands will start to itch

Finely chop green chillies and coriander leaves and add to yam

Add all the above ingredients except oil and make a mixture. It will not be completely dry but everything will come together and form a sticky mixture.

Heat oil in kadai and fry small portions of mixture on medium flame.

Once done remove and serve as a side dish with dal rice or as an evening snack, you can even make nice gravy and add this fritters to make a nice kofta curry
