Sweet Tamarind Chutney Chole Recipe

Fot tamarind chutney. Blenched tamarind with salt in a microwave for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes take out tamarind from micro oven. Cool it and strain it. In a kadai. Add tamarind pulp, and all the spices and jaggery. Boil till the jaggery dissolves and the chutney will become in thick consistency. Once it is done. Keep aside.

For chole. Wash and drain chole. Boiled chole in cooker with little salt for 6 whistles. Once it is done. Keep aside.

Cool it and open the lid. Transfer to a bowl. In the same cooker add 2 tbsp oil. Add cumin seeds, 1 bay lweaf and chopped onion. Fry for few minutes.

Then add tomato puree and green chilly, ginger and garlic paste and salt. Saute it for few minutes. Add boiled chole. Cook till it the gravy become thick.

Once it is done. For plating. Pour the tamarind chutney. Spread evenly. Top pour the chole curry 2 spoon ful. Immediately serve....hot...tamarind chole with hot...pooris
