Soft Nutella Brown Sugar Cookies

I love eating these so much, and making them myself means I get a lot of filling. This time, I made them for my friends to try. I'm sharing the recipe in case anyone else wants to try making them 😊♥️
I've looked at many recipes and adapted them. The cookie base is mainly from Tasty, with less sugar and more Nutella. If you like chocolate bars, you can chop them up instead of using chocolate chips.
This time, I chose Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Usually, people scoop Nutella onto a tray to freeze, which takes up a lot of space. A simple tip is to scoop it into silicone molds or ice cube trays. It saves space and is easy to use 🍫

Steps
- 1
Mix Ingredients 1 together until the sugar is mostly dissolved, using a whisk. Then add Ingredients 2 and mix until combined. You can prepare the Nutella filling by scooping it onto a plate and freezing it.
- 2
Sift the flour and baking soda together, then fold into the mixture with a spatula until it forms a dough that can be shaped. Add chocolate chips to taste, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- 3
Shape the dough into balls, placing a piece of frozen Nutella inside each one. Space them apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 10-15 minutes, depending on size (don't let the tops get too hard; the inside should stay soft). Let them cool on a rack, then store in an airtight container.
- 5
They can be stored for later. If you microwave them for about 10 seconds before eating, they'll be very soft, with slightly gooey Nutella inside and a slightly crunchy sugar coating on top.
