Steps

Wash dal mix & strain it.

Take a pressure cooker, add dal, hing, salt, haldi powder & oil.

Now add water accordingly, place the lid & put it on high flame.

Give 4 whistles, now lower the flame & cook it for 15 - 20 minutes.

Let it cool down, open the lid, stir dal nicely. Take out in a serving bowl, keep aside.

Take a pan, add ghee, heat it.

Add laung & zeera, let it splutter.

Add dry red chilli (halves) & red chilli flakes. Do not over cook it.

Pour tadka directly over dal.

Serve it with Roti or Rice.
