Slice onions, carrot, green chilli, curry leaves

Take a pan and keep it on the stove. Once the pan heats add oil, once the oil heats add mustard and cumin seeds once it starts crackle add red chiili, chenna Dal, peanuts, roast it in low flame. Once it roasted add onions, salt, mix it well. Close it with a lid and keep the stove in low flame.

Open the lid and add carrot. Close the lid again.

Once the carrots half cooked add water. Keep the stove in high flame. Close the lid.

Once the water starts bubbling keep the stove in low flame. Pour ravva slowly mix it well. Close the lid.

Once upma prepared take it into a bowl and serve hot.
