1/8 cup salted butter
1 tbspcocoa powder
1/2 cupcastor sugar
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tspbaking soda
1/2 tspbaking powder
2 tbspmilk

In a large bowl, combine butter with castor sugar. Add red gel color and mix well. To this mixture, add flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. The dough will be very thick and dry at this stage.

Add the milk and beat until the dough comes together. Pop the dough into the refrigerator for some time.

Pre-heat the oven to 180C. On a baking tray lined with parchment paper/ silicone mat, scoop the cookie dough into equal-sized balls. Use your fingers to gently press the dough balls to flatten them a little. Garnish with choco-chip. Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes.
