Grate the beetroot with a grater.

Heat oil. Put tadka. Stir fry the beetroot on it for 5 minutes. In this stage add salt to taste.

Now add peanut and tamarind. Stir fry for another 5 minutes. Let it cool. Make a smooth paste by using little water. Beetroot chutney is ready to serve
