Cinnamon Milk Tea (Daalacheenee Chai)

Milk tea, known as Chai in India, is a very popular drink there. It's easy to find Chai stalls. There are many variations, and each vendor has their own specialty. Some mix in ginger, some use cloves, some add green cardamom, and some use cinnamon. There are also those who mix various spices, known as masala Chai. The hallmark of Indian Chai is its strong tea flavor. They cook the milk and tea together for quite a while, resulting in tea that is perfectly blended with the milk. For the #Posbar_AnekaMinumanHangat event held by #TimHoreHore from the #FoodtographyClub community, I made cinnamon milk tea. In Hindi, cinnamon is 'daalacheenee'. I initially wanted to make spiced milk tea, but I grabbed the wrong bottle. It's an 'oops' moment...🤣
