Steps

Put moong and masoor dal in a pot and add water about a jug.

Then add salt, turmeric and red chilli powder and cook till done.

In oil add garlic sliced cloves, zeera and button chillies. Make tarka and put on the cooked dal.

Cut potatoes into thin cubes, put sliced onion into a wok, when its light brown add potatoes, salt, turmeric, chilli powder and zeera.

Cook till potatoes done, add green chillies and cook untill oil comes out.

Serve dal and Aaloo with boiled rice and achar.
