Ingredients

  1. 1 KgGram Flour
  2. 1/2 KgPowdered Sugar
  3. 1/2 Kgghee / clarified butter
  4. 2-3 tbspChopped Almonds
  5. 2-3 tbspChopped Cashews
  6. 2-3 tbspChopped Pista
  7. 2-3 tbspCardamom Powder
  8. 1/2 tbspTurmeric Powder

Cooking Instructions

    In a kadhai add 7-8 tbsp ghee and add the gram flour. Stir fry over medium heat. Roast the gram flour till light golden brown colour. Add more ghee and turmeric powder if you want and continue roasted the gram flour for some more 10 minutes.

    The gram flour would start to give nice nutty frogrance and will start realising ghee. Now sprinkle 1 tbsp water. Mix it well foam and granules will start forming in the gram flour. Add chopped dry fruits. Mix well and switch off the flame. Remove gram flour in a plate. Leave mixture to cool completely. If it does not cool entirely, it becomes moist when sugar is added. Add cardamom powder and powder sugar.

    Now mix well by rubbing it with your open palm. Shape into tight, hard balls, pressing hard at every stage. Shape each one into a meat roundel. Besan ladoo is ready to eat.😋😋😋
