Steps

Place the pot of water on fire and add little potash and locust beans

Wash the Ewedu leaves and add to the boiling water

Do not cover the pot

Allow the Ewedu to be soft and use whisk to mash it or use special dedicated kitchen broom to mash it.

Alternatively, blender can be used to blend it on low speed for 30 seconds

It can be used to eat any swallow of your choice especially Amala or Semovita
