  • 1 cupbroken wheat
  • 3/4 cupToor daal
  • 1 tspn Turmeric powder
  • to tasteSalt

    Wash and soak it broken wheat and toor dal together for 3-4 hours.

    Soaking is the important part. Don't skip it.

    Let it cook on low flame till it cooks properly.

    Serve Hot. Add a dallop of butter.
