1/2 cupgranulated sugar
1/3 cuphot water
1/8 teaspoonsalt
4 cupsmilk (dairy or non-dairy)
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
Whip cream and tiny marshmallows (optional)

In a medium saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, water, and salt over medium heat.

Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat, and stir in the milk, do not boil.

Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour into mugs and serve immediately.

Add tiny marshmallows and whip cream for ultimate hot cocoa. Enjoy!
