This is just such a great dish! The bacon goes crispy and also protects the onion inside. So you get salty crispy bacon on the outside and soft sweet onion on the inside. I highly recommend it! One onion is enough as a side or two as a main 👍🏻

1onion peeled, topped and tailed and halved
4 stripssteaky bacon
sticksCocktail
Salt and pepper

Wrap each onion half in two strips of bacon and use the cocktail sticks to keep it all together.

Season with salt and pepper and place on a lightly oiled piece of foil.

Bake at 190 C for about 50 mins then enjoy!
