A Great Dessert For Bentos! Wobbly Milk Jelly

You can make this in no time when you don't have fresh fruit, but you want to add a dessert to a bento lunch box!
Tangerines are the most popular fruit topping in my family. High fat milk makes a richly flavoured milk jelly, and it's delicious!
I mix the finished jelly with syrup, so I used just 30 g of sugar in the jelly liquid itself to make it less sweet. Recipe by Rioriopurin

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put milk, sugar, and gelatin powder in a pot.
- 2
I place the pot on a scale, then add the ingredients.
- 3
Turn on the heat, stir the mixture from Step 1 with a spatula, and dissolve the sugar and gelatin.
- 4
Pour the mixture into a container. If you want to make this even better, strain the mixture during Step 3, which will give it a smoother texture.
- 5
When the jelly has cooled down a bit, refrigerate until chilled. (When you are short on time, cool over a bowl of ice-cold water, then refrigerate.)
- 6
When it's set and become jiggly, gently cut with a knife into cubes.
- 7
Pour canned fruit with syrup over the cubes from Step 6 and gently mix to finish.
- 8
When you want to add this to a bento, you can prepare in advance by filling 1/2 a container with fruit and syrup and freezing.
- 9
Place the milk jelly cubes on top of the frozen container from Step 8. The fruit will thaw by lunch time, making it a perfect cold dessert! Don't forget to pack a spoon!

Summer Dessert Edamame Milk Kanten Summer Dessert Edamame Milk Kanten
I wanted to recreate the edamame kanten I had at a department store and couldn't forget. I tried making it many times and finally perfected this recipe. Please try the dual-layered or triple-layered versions as a dessert for guests. Also delicious if you use a lot more edamame. It's a bit troublesome, but be sure to de-skin the Decorative edamame. When making the dual and triple-layered versions, it's best to let the layers set at room temperature, and then pour the next layer in. If you let them set in the refrigerator, there's a chance they won't stick together. The single layer version has a well-developed flavor, and the dual and triple-layered versions have the milk layer for a smoother taste. Easy! Kanten Jelly Easy! Kanten Jelly
Constipation during pregnancy was an issue for me, so a friend of mine who is a dietitian suggested I try eating food with agar agar in it. That's why I started to make this jelly, and continue to eat it even now. When I started, I ate two cups a day--one in the morning, one at night--and had 1 bowel movement every 5 days, but now I have one every one to two days. My child also likes this jelly, and since it's inexpensive to make, I find it a very handy recipe.Be sure to heat agar agar for at least 3 minutes! In order to benefit from the active ingredient of agar agar (i.e. alleviate constipation), this point is essential. (Or at least that is what my friend, who is a dietitian, told me.) The amount of water in the recipe for jelly on the package of the agar agar is very minimal, and results in a firm jelly, so I adjusted the amount of water to make it more soft-set. Milk Jelly (Almond Tofu) - Our Family Recipe Milk Jelly (Almond Tofu) - Our Family Recipe
I've been making milk jelly with this ratio. This is a note to myself.Do not boil the milk as it will lose flavor. Warm to lukewarm. When chilled, the sugar taste less sweet so season the mixture on the sweeter side.If you're not using molds or cutting the jello, you can add an additional 100 ml of milk to make it looser.
