Coconut red chili chutney is my grandma's recipe. This chutney is spicy. According to our taste we can increase or decrease chilies. This spicy chutney goes well with south indian breakfast recipes.

2-3 tbspShredded Coconut
6-7Red chili
1 tspTamarind extract
to tasteSalt
2Shallots
1Garlic
1 tspMustard
1 tspUrad dal
1 tspOil

Steps

To a mixer jar, add chilies & shredded coconut.

Add tamarind extract and garlic pod.

Add shallots. Grind this. Add oil, mustard,urad dal & curry leaves to a kadai. Saute it. Add this to ground chutney. Coconut red chili chutney is ready to serve.
