Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 112in bittergourd
  2. 3big tomatoes
  3. 1big piece of preserved tuber (Zha Choi)
  4. 1big carrot
  5. 2in ginger
  6. 1 piecespongy tofu
  7. 1/2 kgribs for soup

  1. 1

    Pour hot water over the ribs and bring to boil. Once it boils, remove from stove and add to crock pot.

  2. 2

    Slice then soak the preserved tuber in water for 5 minutes. Wash away the chillies.

  3. 3

    Chop bittergourd, carrots, preserved tuber, and tomatoes.
    Slice ginger.

  4. 4

    Throw everything into the pot with the pork ribs. Add 2.5l water into the pot (up to you).

  5. 5

    Let it boil for about 3 1/2 hours. Add salt to taste.
