Bing Pi Yue Bing - Rose Daifuku

I love flowers, so I made a daifuku in the shape of a rose. I made it easily in the microwave. These are called 氷皮月餅 (Bing Pi Yue Bing) in Chinese.

I love flowers, so I made a daifuku in the shape of a rose. I made it easily in the microwave. These are called 氷皮月餅 (Bing Pi Yue Bing) in Chinese.

Prepare the ingredients.

Put all the ingredients except for the anko into a dish and mix.

Wrap with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes.

Remove from the microwave and mix, wrap again, and heat for another 2 minutes.

Let cool covered with the plastic wrap until cool enough. Divide into 4 pieces to fit the molds. Divide the anko into 4 as well and roll into balls.

Dust the molds with cornstarch.

Wrap the anko in the mochi dough.

Pack into the mold.

And it's done!
