Secret Technique! How to Peel Garlic Easy in a Microwave

I created this recipe because I didn't want to peel the garlic one by one.
If it's not heated up properly, the skin won't come off easily, but if it's heated up too much, it will lose the fragrance and flavor. Please keep an eye on them so that these things won't happen. Recipe by kyonmi

QOTW: What is your favorite way to peel garlic? QOTW: What is your favorite way to peel garlic?
Hola, kitchen amigos! It's time for our QOTW (Question of the Week) where we'll be talking about ingredients, methods, and sometimes just plain fun food stuff.I love garlic. I can't even imagine what food would be like if garlic didn't exist anymore. *Almost* every savory dish I like has garlic in it. And it's not like I always have to put a ton of it in my dishes, but it never fails to lend fantastic flavor, whatever the quantity. So today's question is: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO PEEL GARLIC?I've tried a few including putting a whole head's worth of cloves into a jar and shaking which was all the rage a couple of years ago, but I found that method doesn't work so well when you have super fresh garlic because the membranes are still too sticky to release. My older daughter likes to use this silicone tube thingy that you roll the cloves in to loosen the peel.Me? My go-to method seems to be just smashing it with my palm under the flat side of my chef's knife blade, which not only makes the peel pull away very easily, but also does half my chopping job for me at the same time.I'm sure you probably have a favorite method, so please share! And if you’ve shared or found an awesome garlicky recipe here on Cookpad, please share the link. 😊Looking forward to your answers!~ YFNCM :) x -
Super Easy! Whole Onion Steamed in a Microwave Super Easy! Whole Onion Steamed in a Microwave
I looked online for a good way to eat up sweet new harvest onions. At my workplace, I tried microwaving an onion with butter and it was a bit hit!By making slits in the onion, the butter can really penetrate into it.I used about 1 cm of a regular stick of butter cut into two pieces. When microwaving, the butter will melt down to the bottom, so flip the onion over to coat evenly.Don't use too much soy sauce. 2 Minutes in a Microwave: How to Cook a Carrot 2 Minutes in a Microwave: How to Cook a Carrot
I tried cooking a carrot with water because it turned out dry when I didn't use water. I just came up with this idea.- Peel the carrots. Depending on the microwave the cooking time will change. Adjust the time while keeping an eye on it.- Adjust the cooking time according to the type of dish you'll be using the carrot for. Cook it longer when you want the carrot thoroughly cooked, and shorter if you just want it softened. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

Quick! Easy! Foolproof! How to Toast and Peel Tomatoes Quick! Easy! Foolproof! How to Toast and Peel Tomatoes
Maybe I'm not organized enough, but I can never peel tomatoes properly using the blanching method. So I thought up this way of subjecting tomatoes to a "burning at the stake" punishment .Make sure that the flames reach every part of the skin properly! If you don't, you may end up with some patches that won't peel off. When the skin makes a "pop!" sound, I become unreasonably happy. Please be sure to use a fork with a handle that doesn't transmit heat. Otherwise you'll burn yourself! Recipe by Radorin cookpad.japan -
Easy in the Microwave Chicken Breast Garlic Roll Easy in the Microwave Chicken Breast Garlic Roll
I wanted to make a simple, hassle-free dish (as usual).A mayonnaise-based sauce goes well with this, but use any sauce you like. The chicken is seasoned with salt and pepper, so there is only a small amount of sauce. However, it's also fine to season the chicken lightly, and serve with plenty of sauce on the side. Tender Carrots In Sweet Vinegar - With a Microwave Tender Carrots In Sweet Vinegar - With a Microwave
I like the taste of pickles, as well as the texture of carrots cooked until they're tender, so I marinated cooked carrot in a sweet vinegar sauce. You can use wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, rice vinegar or any vinegar you like. Its best to use a light colored vinegar for the prettiest color. This is good whether the carrots are cooked until tender, or if they are still on the crunchy side. If you adjust the amount of water added when microwaving them, you can adjust the sourness too. Recipe by Mikki-an cookpad.japan -
