Super Easy! Whole Onion Steamed in a Microwave

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

I looked online for a good way to eat up sweet new harvest onions. At my workplace, I tried microwaving an onion with butter and it was a bit hit!

By making slits in the onion, the butter can really penetrate into it.
I used about 1 cm of a regular stick of butter cut into two pieces.
When microwaving, the butter will melt down to the bottom, so flip the onion over to coat evenly.
Don't use too much soy sauce. Recipe by Ribakomachi
