Steps

  1. 1

    Slice the bánh tét into rounds of desired thickness.

    Heat enough oil in a pan to fully submerge the slices, then fry the bánh tét.

    Wait until one side is golden brown, then carefully flip to fry the other side. This helps keep the slices intact and looking nice.

  4. 4

    Once both sides are evenly golden and crispy, remove the slices and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
