Onion bhajis
An easy but tasty onion bhaji recipe.
Steps

Slice the onions into a large bowl

Add the salt, leave for 10 minutes

Mix the dried spices and flour
- 4
Add the flour spoonful by spoonful mixing with hands as you go

Leave fir 15 min until all the water has come out of the onions into the mixture

Add splash of water plus fresh coriander and mix until you have a thick paste surrounding the onions

Use a fryer, or pour vegetable oil about 2 inches deep into a frying pan and heat

Form the onion mixture into ball like shapes about the size of a large egg with your hands and fry in the oil. The oil has to be sizzling so the bhaji retains is shape

It is cooked when it’s a nice golden brown. Drain and serve with riata
