Prepare all your ingredients and equipment.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the eggs and mix them in. Gradually add the warm milk.

Once the dough feels smooth and uniform, add the butter, margarine, and shortening little by little, working them in with your fingers.

When the dough is ready, let it rise until it doubles in size.

While the dough is rising, prepare the topping. Mix the vegetable shortening with the powdered sugar.

For extra flavor, add the cocoa powder and continue mixing to form a paste for the topping.

When the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 10 portions of about 2 ounces (60 grams) each.

Shape each portion into a ball.

Roll out the topping with a rolling pin. Place it on top of each dough ball, using a little vegetable shortening to help it stick.

After topping all the dough balls, let them rise a second time.

Once they have doubled in size, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 15 to 25 minutes.
