Use your favorite seasonings! I recommend a mix of salt and soup stock or just salt.

Ingredients

  1. 1or 2 Onion (sliced)
  2. 1*Tempura flour
  3. 1*Water
  4. Seasonings, to taste
  5. 1equal amounts Salt
  6. 1equal amounts Soup stock granules

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the onions thickly.

    Mix together the tempura flour and water to your desired thickness. Break up a slice of the onion and coat in the * batter.

    Fry in oil heated to 170℃ for 1-2 minutes. They're ready when lightly browned. Once fried, set on paper towels to drain.

    Seasonings: 1 - Just salt. 2 - Equal parts salt and soup stock granules. Season the fried onions with your desired seasonings and enjoy.

    In Step 2, make the batter as you like If your batter is heavy on the tempura flour, it will be thick, but if you add a bit more water, it will be thinner. I recommend a thicker batter for crunchy fried onions!
