Grind coriander leaves,mint leaves, clove, ginger and green chillies to make smooth paste. Keep aside.

Heat the oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, groundnuts, chana dal, udad dal, cut red chilli and asafoetida. Fry until golden brown.

Now add chopped onion fry until translucent. Add tomato, turmeric, green peas and curry leaves. Fry until tomatoes cooked.

Add pudina paste and fry for a minute. Then add 2 cup hot water. When all the mixture boiling add roasted rava, salt and jaggery.

Close the lid and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on low flame. Pudina upma is ready to serve. Add 1 tsp ghee(optional). Mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with allam chutney or coconut chutney.
