Mix butter and sugar and beat lightly

Add in eggs one at a time. Mix and add vanilla extract

Mix the flour and cocoa powder in a separate bowl and sieve. Divide into two parts

Dissolve the red food colour in the buttermilk

Add 1 part of flour and then the buttermilk. Stir gently and add the second part. Fold in gently. Be careful not to overmix the batter.

Lastly, add the baking soda in a small bowl and add the vinegar. It will make a sizzling sound. Quickly pour it into the batter and fold in.

Line your baking pan with cupcakes paper and pour your batter. Bake for 20- 30 minutes.
