Pan-Fried Cheese Hanpen and Lotus Root with Seaweed
I saw lotus roots with minced fish at the oden section at a supermarket. I modified it and created this recipe.

Steps

Place the lotus root onto a plate, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 3 minutes.

Put the roughly chopped hanpen and egg into a food processor, and stop when just blended.

Combine the hanpen mixture from Step 2, cheese, and flour in a bowl.

Divide Step 3 into 10 portions. Spoon the lotus root mixture on top, and wrap with nori seaweed cut into half lengthwise.

Heat oil in a pan, and add the portions from Step 4. Pan-fry for about 10 minutes at low heat. Flip occasionally.

They are delicious without sauce, but you can eat with wasabi soy sauce if you prefer.
