Add yeast and ½tsp of sugar into a cup of warm water and set aside for 5-7mins until mixture becomes frothy

Combine sieved flour, baking powder,salt and butter into a bowl and mix well,add the yeast mixture bit by bit into the flour.mix until it forms soft and firm dough.cover and allow to rise in a warm place for abt 20-30mins.

Prepare filling in a sauce pan add fish, little water and seasoning and steam until the fish is cooked remove the bones and smash the fish (if you are using canned fish no need for this).

Place a fry pan over a low heat.add 3tbs of oil,onion, smashed fish and tomato puree, season well,stir fry and remove from heat to cool.

Fill in the dough,knead the dough and divide into equal portions on a floured surface. Roll one portion of dough with rolling pin into an oval shape.pour two tbs of the smashed fish mixture on one end,fold and seal with egg using brush.place on a floured surface for abt 10mins to rise.

Fry until golden brown.
