Ingredients

45 minutes
500 gm
  • 250 gmgram flour or besan
  • 2big sized potatoes
  • 3/4 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonblack salt
  • 1 teaspoonchat masala
  • 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 2-3 tablespoondry mint powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonpepper powder
  • 1 tablespoonoil
  • as neededOil to fry

  1. 1

    For mint powder, wash fresh mint leaves well. Then strain them and spread them on a clean and dry cotton cloth without overlapping. Let it dry in the same way inside home for 3-4 days. Then transfer them in a big plate and spread all around. Keep this plate in refrigerator without covering it for more 4-5 days. Then you will get 100% dried mint leaves. You can easily crush them. Take them in a mixture jar and crush into fine powder.

    Steam boil the potatoes. Potatoes should not be in direct contact with water. After boiling peel off them and grate them to make smooth paste.

    In potato mixture add all spices,powders and oil. Then add gram flour and form a smooth dough without adding any water. Add flour as per required.

    Apply some oil on the dough. Keep aside for 5 minutes. Then take half part of the dough, roll it and fill in the sev making machine.

    Heat oil. And then on medium flame by moving the machine in circular motion make a fall of sev in the oil. Fry it till golden brown. And then take out and drain excess oil.

    Delicious mint potato slims are ready to serve. Enjoy it with hot beverage.

    Store it in an airtight container and can have it within 15-20 days.
