Soak black lentil over night in water. Next morning drain out the water and in a grinder, grind dal to make a smooth paste. To the paste, add chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chilli, cumin powder, garam masala and salt. Mix thoughly.

Make small ball / any shape using this mixture by applying a little water/oil on plumb. In a bowl full of sesame seeds, dip these ball and cover them completely with seeds. In a pan heat oil on medium flame and deep fry the balls. Transfer in a plate and serve it hot with chutney or ketchup.
