Super Easy Okara Scones

I wanted to make something tasty using okara, so I came up with this. Whether you can stick to your diet or not when eating these depends on your appetite!
If the okara has a low water content, add water, if it has a high water content add flour.
When done, they should be a light baked colour.
They are tasty if you heat them in the oven just before eating. Recipe by OyukarinO

Cooking Instructions
- 1
This is the okara I used. Put everything in a bowl and mix it by hand. Stop when it forms a large lump.
- 2
Put the dough on a surface lightly coated with flour and spread it to a 1.5 - 2cm thickness with a rolling pin. Cut out with a cutter or knife.
- 3
Bake for 20-30 minutes in an oven heated to 170-180°C, and they're done. Enjoy with maple syrup or jam.
- 4
It increases the calorie count, but I recommend adding chocolate chips. It's moist and tasty.

Easy & Low-Cal Okara Scones Easy & Low-Cal Okara Scones
I'm addicted to okara scones which are popular at the moment. I tried making them many times, and wondered if I could make them more easily with pancake mix. They are delicious, but in a very different way to the ones I usually make, so I uploaded this recipe. These are crispy and fluffy.Pancake mix has the same number of calories as cake flour, around 370 kcal per 100 g. Because the pancake mix contains sugar (390 kcal per 100 g) and baking powder, you don't need to add any, which helps to keep the calorie count down. The texture will be different depending on what you use, but they are nice made with either cake flour or pancake mix. Recipe by Soraten mama cookpad.japan -

I have a really big appetite, even though I want to go on a diet… So, I made these delicious, healthy, and filling okara scones. I'm doing 'Okikae Diet' (replacing one of three meals with diet substitutes) with these okara scones. If you're using an oven, it's 20 minutes at 180℃. It's 10-12 minutes in a toaster oven. You can also try mixing in some chocolate, fruit granola, or amanatto (sweetened adzuki beans)When I sprinkled some cinnamon on top of the dough with raisins, the scones baked up tasting like a dessert from Tohato. I made this to be simple and low-calorie.Keep an eye on the scones while they're baking and adjust the cooking time accordingly. If using a toaster-oven, bake them for about 15 minutes.Once the surfaces have browned, break off a piece of one scone and if it comes off easily, it's done.I recommend enjoying these scones while they're still warm. 1 scone is about 90 calories. Soft & Crispy, Made with Jam Okara Scones Soft & Crispy, Made with Jam Okara Scones
I love scones. I make them using various ingredients. The other day I came across a recipe using strong flour, and it was delicious with a texture I hadn't had before. So I came up with this recipe using strong flour and okara in the dough. In steps 3 and 4 mix the dough without kneading it (if you knead it, it won't be crispy after baking). If using salted butter please reduce the amount of salt used.If you cool them, when it's time to eat, warm them in a oven for a more delicious taste. Egg-free Easy Scones Egg-free Easy Scones
This is actually the first scone I ever made when I didn't have any eggs...I think they are rather like KFC's biscuits when they are freshly baked, but maybe it's just me.If the dough is too soft, it's fine if you dust your work surface so don't worry. In Step 4, you can put the dough in a sturdy plastic bag and knead it over the bag, so your hands won't get messy.Serve with honey, jam, cream, butter since these are not very sweet. Easy Plain Scones Easy Plain Scones
I am addicted to making macarons, so the leftover egg yolks keep piling up. I couldn't be bothered to make cookies, so I used egg yolks instead of whole eggs in my usual scone recipe. They turned out just like the scones I once got at a bakery.*Adjust the amount of egg depending on your margarine. Sometimes 80 ml is just right, and other times it's not enough, so add lit little by little.*This time I used 2 medium size egg yolks. The texture becomes too crumbly if you add more than 40 ml. I adapted my plain sconesthrough several experiments, to come up with scones that could be eaten as-is. Since the cheese adds fat and calories, I adjusted the amount of butter used. The consistency of the dough will vary depending on how moist the okara is. Start by adding a little soy milk, and add more if needed. Recipe by tearstar cookpad.japan
