Ingredients

50-60 minutes
2 loaves
  1. 1 can (16 ounces)- pure pumpkin puree or 2-3 cups mashed fresh cooked pumpkin
  2. 1 2/3- cups sugar
  3. 2/3 cup- vegetable oil
  4. 2 tsp- vanilla
  5. 4large - eggs
  6. 3 cups- AP flour or wheat flour
  7. 2 tsp- baking soda
  8. 1 tsp- salt
  9. 1 tsp- ground cinnamon
  10. 1/2 tsp- ground cloves
  11. 1/2 tsp- baking powder
  12. 1 cup- rough chopped walnuts (optional)

Steps

50-60 minutes
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Spray the bottoms of two loaf pans with cooking spray

  3. 3

    Mix the pumpkin, sugar, oil, vanilla, and eggs in a large bowl.

  4. 4

    Mix the rest of the ingredients and then add to the wet and stir until combined.

  5. 5

    Pour into the pans.

  6. 6

    Bake for 50 – 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

    Cool completely before cutting
