    Peel, dice and wash your potatoes.

    As the potatoes boil. Chop your onion and garlic. We will caramelize this to use later.

    Mash your soft boiled potatoes and add margarine or butter.

    Add the caramelized onions to the mash.

    Add milk to create a soft, smooth mash.
