Onion Paratha is delicious whole wheat flatbreads stuffed with piquant onions, spicy green chilies, and savory spices. Also known as pyaz paratha, this is a crispy paratha made in many Punjabi homes for breakfast.

Onion Paratha is delicious whole wheat flatbreads stuffed with piquant onions, spicy green chilies, and savory spices. Also known as pyaz paratha, this is a crispy paratha made in many Punjabi homes for breakfast.
Steps

Knead dough by adding water slowly in wheat flour and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Wash, peel, and grate onion and ginger. Chop green chili and coriander leaves.

Dry roast onion and ginger in a wok for 2 minutes or till it gets dry. Add carrom seeds, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and coriander seeds powder and mix well.

Now add coriander leaves and green chili and saute for 1 minute. Keep aside.

Now take a portion of dough and make a ball. Roll it. Keep 2 tbsp filling and fold its edges to the center. Make a ball. Roll it around.

Heat a griddle. Place the paratha on it. Roast for 1 minute. Flip the side and roast from another side also.

Serve hot with curd.
