Ingredients

  1. 3mango seeds with pulp
  2. 2 tbspjeggery
  3. 2 tbspgrated coconut
  4. 7-8curry leaves
  5. 1 tbspchopped coriander
  6. 2dry red chilli
  7. 2cloves
  8. as requiredSmall cinnamon stick
  9. Pinchasafoetida
  10. 1 tspturmeric
  11. 1 tspcoriander cumin powder
  12. 1 tbspKashmiri red chili powder
  13. To taste salt
  14. 1 tspdry mango powder
  15. 1 tspsambhar masala
  16. 2 cupwater
  17. 1/2 cupmango pulp (ras)
  18. 1 tspmustard seeds
  19. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  20. 1/2 tspfenugreek seeds

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl add mango seeds & 1 cup water,soak for 20 minutes in water,then with clean hands remove pulp from seeds,add mango purée mix well,heat pan add oil heat oil add muster seeds crackle it then add cumin seeds fenugreek seeds cloves,cinnamon stick,curry leaves,dry red chilli.kashmiri red chilli powder.

    Add in mango pulp pan, add mango seeds also,on the flame put this pan,stir well cook for 2 minutes add 1 cup water & masala,salt, turmeric,sambhar masalo,dry mango powder,jeggery,grated coconut,cook 3-4 minutes,cook until thick consistency,now off the flame.add chopped coriander.

    Serve in a bowl with salted jira rice.yummy,healthy & tasty fajeto In gujrati is ready. (mango rasam)
